I'm really, REALLY sick of finding out that the people I work for watch and enjoy such a racist, sexist, generally bigoted and tasteless show. If you like that sort of thing, stay away from me. Do NOT even TRY to hire me, I WILL refuse and block you immediately.

So the update on the situation with our dad retiring is basically this: He's already retired, but has agreed to give us part of his retirement money to help us out while we still look for jobs.

In the meantime, our mom has applied for Social Security to supplement that income, which should be coming soon. We're also using EBT Food Stamps, and reduced our TV bill by switching entirely to Roku streaming services instead of cable, which is much cheaper.

So things will be a little tight until we have a regular income, but I think we'll survive.

So I just received word that my dad will be retiring from teaching in June due to various circumstances. He's been supporting all of us, mainly because my mom can't work, and we've never once been able to find any sort of employment, despite my best efforts.

My only source of income is music streaming revenue, someone occasionally buying one of my fonts, and the extremely rare art commission. Put it all together, and it only amounts to roughly $100 a year, if even that. It's hardly enough to live on.

So what I'm saying is, please, anyone reading this: commission me, buy my fonts, stream my music, donate to my Ko-Fi, ANYTHING. I have no clue if I'll be able to get a job by June, so literally anything will help.

If you can't send money, spread links to my accounts wherever you can, get my work out there so people can see it. I've been wallowing in obscurity for too long, and I don't know if I can survive it much longer.

I truly hope someday I can make a living off my art. I had hoped that'd be the case by now, since I've been posting my work online for over 15 years, but I'm still barely above a nobody. I know I can do it, I'm confident in my skills. I just need other people to believe it too.

It's looking like deviantArt is going to force us to switch to their new layout soon, so I might make this our new primary gallery.

I figure it's a good idea to start uploading things here anyway. The more attention our art gets, the closer we get to making a living doing it, and eventually make those TV shows, video games, etc. we want to create a reality.
